Addiction is a lack of will power πŸ™…πŸΌ 2. That addiction is something about which people should be ashamed πŸ™…πŸΌπŸ™…πŸΌ and 3. That sobriety is the end of fun (ya'll KNOW how strongly I feel about that one) πŸ™…πŸΌπŸ™…πŸΌπŸ™…πŸΌ . Spread the word and join the challenge 😎   recovery app aa meetings near me

Creating Loosid App - The New Sober Platform

Just under two years ago, my business partners and I had a dream, to create the world’s most comprehensive community for those who choose to, or have a desire to live a sober life. The first thing we needed to do in order to encourage people to get sober living , was to show them the amazing life that can be had in sobriety. We need to show them that sobriety is not the end of fun, but only the beginning. We also felt it critical that we kill the stigma that sobriety is to be ashamed of, but rather show it is one to be celebrated. There is a lot of work to be done, but we hold steadfast in our commitment to building the largest sober platform for people to connect with and with those who share a common bond. Though our experiences are different, the feelings of hopelessness are the same. Here is the story of #loosidapp- recovery app and why we created it. Please share with us your thoughts in the comments below.

Addiction is not something to be ashamed of

Addiction is not something to be ashamed of - Shaming creates barriers to access help and treatment In active addiction, feelings of shame and hopelessness can become unbearable. Shame can initially cause someone to drink or use, and can keep them in the cycle of addiction. People that feel embarrassed or unworthy of asking for help, rarely seek it on their own. Sobriety is courageous, it takes strength, determination, and hard work. With sobriety you are facing life on life’s terms, so we must lean into and celebrate sobriety. We’ve launched a challenge to break down these barriers so that those who are suffering can receive the help they desperately need.
