Creating Loosid App - The New Sober Platform

Just under two years ago, my business partners and I had a dream, to create the world’s most comprehensive community for those who choose to, or have a desire to live a sober life. The first thing we needed to do in order to encourage people to get sober living , was to show them the amazing life that can be had in sobriety. We need to show them that sobriety is not the end of fun, but only the beginning. We also felt it critical that we kill the stigma that sobriety is to be ashamed of, but rather show it is one to be celebrated. There is a lot of work to be done, but we hold steadfast in our commitment to building the largest sober platform for people to connect with and with those who share a common bond. Though our experiences are different, the feelings of hopelessness are the same. Here is the story of #loosidapp- recovery app and why we created it. Please share with us your thoughts in the comments below.

On average, it will take your body one hour to remove one standard drink from your bloodstream. If you have s...

It isn’t a simple answer or a quick fix to living a  sober lifestyle , but learning more about addiction opens the door of the opportunity to overcome it.  In Ed Stevensons TEDX Talk about  how to get sober  and to see recovery in a new way, he isn’t just talking about the addiction itself. When it comes to talking about  alcoholism  and living a sober life, he recognized that those who suffer the most are the ones who are unable to get the emotional, mental, and physical help they need.  While society shrugs it off as a lack of willpower, it is far more complex than a simple answer of yes or no. We see heavy drinking lifestyles nearly everywhere we look. We see it in the shows we watch, in our communit...
