What’s your AA sobriety date and a simple word of advice for a newcomer?

 

I went alcohol free and drug free April 21, 2013. My advice is to find an AA meeting near you and start to meet sober people who live near you. If your problem was drugs, I would go to Narcotics Anonymous or Cocaine Anonymous, however they all follow the same principles of Alcoholics Anonymous so really any meeting is a great meeting.
