Why are people comfortable with online dating?

 I think people are comfortable because for one, it saves a ton of time, if you have a lot of other demands. You can get to know someone a bit first, without having to try to pick someone up randomly. If you are looking for something specific, or have a certain affinity group, religion, or other preference, affinity dating apps are great. I am sober, so I looked for the best sobriety app where dating sober was mandatory, and finding sober singles in my area was the only thing I was looking for. Whatever your preference, I think the more specific the better as it simply saves a ton of time with a person only to find out a showstopper after several dates!
