What does sobriety feel like after rehab?

 

I went to a drug rehab near me when I first tried “How to get sober”. I did not stay alcohol- free or drug-free as I made some mistakes and didn't stay away from people, places and things. It wasn’t until I started going to AA meeting near me that I was able to connect and engage with other people who gave me tips to get sober. I think that life after you get out of a treatment centre can be very tricky and it is important to learn how to live a sober life is easier said than done. Addiction help is all around you, if you look for it. So, my advice is, whether you are leaving a drug rehab or any other treatment centre, detox centre, inpatient rehab or whatever the place, find AA meetings nearby and ask for help. Asking for help is the first step to take to get you the addiction help you need.
