How can I quit drinking when everyone around me drinks?

 

Same thing happened with me. You need to make a decision to live alcohol-free. When I finally, hit rock-bottom, I went to AA meetings near me and distanced myself from that crowd. I had to. I know what you are going through however you will realize how amazing it can be to live a sober lifestyle. I started dating in recovery through someone I met through a sober app and slowly but surely, I started going to sober events, or at least events that were alcohol-free and drug-free. If you have a problem drinking, I would recommend you reach out for sober help recovery app. I promise you when you are on the other side, the challenges you are having right now with your friends you wont event think about as you will be surrounded by people who not only live a sober lifestyle but have are enjoying their lives. That doesn't mean you still can’t have fun with the friends you used to drink with, but you will need some time to learn how to live sober first.
